EPL RESIDENTIAL CAMP 2008

EPL Sports is proud to present its inaugural “2008 Residential Professional Academy Camp” in conjunction with top professional coach and European Club scout, Andy Ritchie. Andy will be supported by other top professional academy coaches from Reading FC, Liverpool FC and the English FA. Andy's philosophy is to bring a high level of professionalism and competitiveness to the camp through innovative learning techniques in a fun environment.

This specialized 5 day Residential camp is available for travel players (boys and girls), aged 10-18 years old. The camp will involve a mix of field & classroom sessions identical to those experienced by young professional academy soccer players. Be the best you can be!

Andy Ritchie (Camp Director)
Andy has 17 years coaching experience at the highest level within the UK ACADEMY system of the PREMIER YOUTH LEAGUE, having worked at four professional football clubs.

Whilst at Crystal Palace he worked with Hayden Mullins now West Ham United, at Charlton Athletic FC with Scott Parker now also West Ham United, at Chelsea FC with JOHN TERRY the current England and Chelsea Captain and latterly with THEO WALCOTT now Arsenal and England, whilst at Southampton FC.

Andy possesses the UEFA ‘A' Advanced Coaching Licence, a University degree in Physical Education and Personal Development ,the Academy Managers Licence and the FA Youth Coaches Licence. Andy also has Coach Educator's qualifications having worked and delivered courses for the Football Association.

He played for Reading FC and captained the British Colleges Soccer Team. Andy wrote the Under 9-16 Coaching syllabus whist at Charlton Athletic FC and has studied the Youth policies at Olympic Lyon FC,the best Academy in France , Juventus FC in Italy and Borussia Monchengladbach FC in Germany .
